Making Marmalade

Today we made marmalade, we had lots of oranges on our tree so one of our teachers decided to make marmalade with the children, 

Under very close supervision the children were allowed to try using real knives and had the opportunity to cut the oranges into small pieces, they followed the process through and enjoyed marmalade on toast for afternoon tea.
